DAY 2

We visited the Bangkok Safari World, the biggest open zoo in Thailand, where so many different kinds of animals can be seen. It features hundreds of animals from all over the world... The best part of visiting this place is driving through the scenic Safari Park where you can experience a unique opportunity for the closest encounter possible with rare and endangered species of the animal kingdom.

Take a look and witness the breathtaking tour inside the Safari world. Animal lovers will surely love this place...

How to get there:

Safari World is 50-min. drive from Bangkok city. 

Entrance (900 TBH) 

Daily : 9:00 am-5:00 PM

1.) A number 26 bus from Victory Monument will take you to Kilometer 9 of Ram Indra Road. From there you can take a mini-bus service to Safari World.

2.) Get a tour package: Lucky Kabuhayan tour package = 1,200 per pax with Transpo, entrance to Safari World and lunch. (Lucky Kabuhayan Tours is owned by a Filipino.)

Hello Friends!

It's been a while since I last updated my online journal and this is because of my hectic schedule (work-school-biz-errands). Yes, my life is a bit crazier than usual since I started my mini business called "LaiCa Collection". And before 2013 comes, I like to share with everyone the highlights of my (4Q) 2012...

Last November, I visited Thailand together with my former manager slash travel Buddy, Fhatty. And we are very amazed with the different structure all over the city of Bangkok and in the old city of Ayutthaya. Come and take a look in our newest journey around Thailand.

 Note: When taking pictures of you and the Buddha head, make sure you sit on your knees to show respect, as it is considered holy by Thais.

How to get there:

There are 3 options to reach Ayutthaya; one is the Train at Hua Lamphong station, or you can take the Bus at Northern Terminal or the Minivan at Victory Monument Station.

Arriving Ayutthaya, there is already a TukTuk waiting just beside of the minivan loading station, we then asked how much is the Ayutthaya tour. We immediately agreed to a 4 hours Ayutthaya tour for 8 Temples for a price of 1000 Baht (3pax).

ITINERARY FROM PEX:

1.  Take BTS Skytrain to the Victory Monument station, and go right on the elevated walkway - keep on it until you cross a large road, then descend - the buses are parked at the side of the main traffic circle).

We chose to take the Minivan, it cost 60 Baht and only 1 hour ride from Victory Monument to Ayutthaya, this is the last stop so you don't have to worry. I guess this is also the easiest way to reach Ayutthaya.

2. Arriving Ayutthaya, there is already a TukTuk waiting just beside  the minivan loading station, we then asked how much is the Ayutthaya tour.

It's already past 12noon when we finished the Ayutthaya Tour.

Ayutthaya is one of the best historical places I've ever been. From its rich history to amazing structures, visiting this place is definitely worth it.

Living in a corporate world means you have to sacrifice some of your time for family and friends. That is why whenever there is a long weekend, I make sure that I will spend my time with my family (or friends). Also, since it is my birthday month, I had a chance to bond with my family and relatives in our province..

Silver Girl 2012

I know this is very late but I really want to post and thank everyone for my birthday celebration this year.

When I started my new role as an ATL, I had a hard time balancing my time for almost 3 months that is why I hardly share some stuff here. It so happen that I'm on sembreak now and I have some free time to share what had happened during my birth-month with some of my friends...

First of all, I want to thank God for giving me such a wonderful life..

My family, for their continues support and understanding...

And of course, my friends who never turned me down.

The only this that made me sad on that day is that, my family and my special someone was not with me on that date. But still very grateful that I have lots of TRUE friends beside me.

Isdaan Floating Restaurant, Laguna

Last month, me and my friends had our lunch in Calauan, Laguna. It was our first time in that place and in spite of the numerous negative feedback about the place, we still insisted to go. Luckily, we didn't experience any bad thing (from service to food and bills) in the resto. In fact, we really had a great time...

The famous "Tacsiyapo". An anger management activity wherein you can throw plates, cups and alike in the wall with the names of the person you hated most. I tried it twice, and I keep on hitting "Mang-aagaw". Hmmm... Maybe, I'll be more glad if the one I hit with the plate is the real person. lol

will definitely go back to this place. But before that, we will try their branch in Tarlac this coming September. ^_^

How to get there from Manila:

Private Vehicle: Take SLEX then exit to Calamba. Go straight to Los Banos. From Los Banos there’s a crossing for Calauan town proper, Sta Cruz and Bay, Laguna. Go straight to Sta Cruz way instead, then on the right side will be Isdaan, just 1 km away from the Crossing.

Commute: Ride a Sta Cruz bound bus (DLTB, Green Star and HM Transport), I think it's in Cubao. It will be just one ride. Just ask the driver to drop you off in Isdaan.

Facts:

Isdaan is also owned by the Ongpauco Family (owner of Barrio Fiesta)

Calauan Branch is actually their second branch, the original is in Tarlac and now they are planning to put up their third branch in Nueva Ecija
