Hong Kong 2013! Live.Laugh.Love

It's been quite some time since I last posted an entry in my site and that's because of the recent events in my life that made me a lot busier (and crazier) this year. Also, I haven't gone to any new places since January :(

Here's the only 'lakwatsa' I did for the past 9 months.. yeah, I'm trying to be a good girl now. No more rule breaking, over spending gala since I started to plan building my house in Malolos, Bulacan. :D

Here it goes...

June 2013: Yes, I'm back in the homeland of my grandparents...

My aunt and I stayed at my cousin's place in Caribbean Coast.
And since we've been here in HK for the nth time, a 2-day tour is enough for us to go shopping! :)

First stop: Tung Chung Mall. Here, you can find the outlet store of different clothing brands like Giordano, Mango, Ralph Lauren, etc. Definitely a shopping haven for the shopaholics like my aunt. You can also find here the outlet store of Kate Spade and Coach... can you feel my excitement while reading this? Oh yes! Bagaholics like me should (must!) check it out!

Second Stop: HK Central. Where you can shop til you drop! And yes, you see it right, I got my very first Louis Vuitton as a treat for myself. Well, actually it wasn't MY treat but from Boyf's. He gave me a couple of bucks to buy my dream bag. It is P6k cheaper in HK than in Pinas so I opted to buy it there. Also, LV store in HK is very huge...nakakapaglaway! And, you can check each and every bag without getting conscious with the salesladies coz they are not racist. Quite helpful actually, they will tell you which bag fits your style.

Second Day: NgongPing 360. My first time to ride the cable car in Tung Chung.
This is just a dare from my aunt, I'll ride the cable car and she will treat me at Starbucks. Haha..
My awkward smile just showed my fear of heights. :))

Another awkward smile.
Can you sense that I can't move a single step here? Yes. That's what I look like from the beginning of the ride. Don't touch me nor push me or else you will not live another day. :))

Epic view from the cable car.

I survived! Now, time to grab our late lunch.

Fried Salmon for the win!

View from my room. Isn't it relaxing? Fresh air. Quiet surrounding. Definitely one of the reasons why I choose spending my vacation here.

I <3 HK! Pasalubong for Mi Familia.

Those two bags (Giordano and Bossini) are for him while the other bags are all for me!
My first and last overspending gala this year! hihi...:P

via Cathay Pacific.
Goodbye HK, See you again on January 2014!

Palawan 2013 - Day 1

"Water that drops from the Limestone above is not a Lime Juice...so you better close your mouth when looking upward.", this was the punchline of our boatman while we are exploring the beauty of the Underground River. According to him, when something cold drops on your skin, it is Holy Water...but when something hot drops on your skin...it is Holy Shit (Bat shit). So you better close your mouth while inside the cave or else... ^_^

UNDERGROUND RIVER TOUR

Fact: On November 11, 2011, Puerto Princesa Underground River was provisionally chosen as one of the New7Wonders of Nature. This selection was officially confirmed on January 28, 2012. (courtesy of Wikipedia)

On our way to the Underground River, our first stop over was in Ulugan Bay. Here, our tour guide collected our ID and filled out a form which is required before you can enter the Underground River. This was initiated by the Government to limit the tourist that can enter the Park.

with our new found friends Brad and Joel.

Welcome to Underground River Subterranean Park!

 while waiting for the boat...

...and we are ready so sail!

The entrance of the Underground River. Looks creepy right? Bit excited to see bats too!

Inside the cave you can see different forms of stalactites and stalagmites.

Beautiful Limestone...

The river is almost 8km but you can only tour at around 1.8km because the rest is still under scientific studies of the Government in collaboration with some foreign scientist. According to the boatman, scientist are still studying the fossils they recovered in the deep part of the river.

Wacky pose number 1! We rarely have this kind of photo so let me count it for tracking purposes. LOL

UGONG ROCK ADVENTURE

Ugong Rock Adventure

1st time to try the 'Spelunking'.

 Rappelling inside the cave.

Tiring but Happy! Worth all the 'pagod'!
Our tiring look... Wacky pose number 2!
Ang totoo mga teh...ang definition ba ng 'wacky' eh peace sign, nguso, at gulat shot? :))
