La Vista Balanga Inland Resort

Living in a corporate world means you have to sacrifice some of your time for family and friends. That is why whenever there is a long weekend, I make sure that I will spend my time with my family (or friends). Also, since it is my birthday month, I had a chance to bond with my family and relatives in our province..

And this is how I spent my Holiday (Aug. 20,2012)...

with my cousins at La Vista Inland Resort in Balanga City

Ahmmm...yan po ung wacky namin. :)))

with my two beautiful cousins.
Fact: both of them joined the Mutya ng Balanga (2008 & 2011) Pageant and both won the title.

feeling like I'm inside a cave with snow... chos!

Silver Girl 2012

I know this is very late but I really want to post and thank everyone for my birthday celebration this year.

When I started my new role as an ATL, I had a hard time balancing my time for almost 3 months that is why I hardly share some stuff here. It so happen that I'm on sembreak now and I have some free time to share what had happened during my birth-month with some of my friends...

First of all, I want to thank God for giving me such a wonderful life..
My family, for their continues support and understanding...
And of course, my friends who never turned me down.

Celebration Part 1 - at Bannaple, C5 (Aug.14, 2012

Thank you TEAM for having all of you as my date on my birthday! ^_^

Celebration Part 2 - Via Mare, Eastwood City (Aug.15,2012)

Thank you to my best buddies for the dinner date...

Thanks bebe kahit na di tayo talo nakipag-date ka pa din nung bday ko. lol

The only this that made me sad on that day is that, my family and my special someone was not with me on that date. But still very grateful that I have lots of TRUE friends beside me.

YES, I'M OFFICIALLY 25! ^_^

Isdaan Floating Restaurant, Laguna

Last month, me and my friends had our lunch in Calauan, Laguna. It was our first time in that place and in spite of the numerous negative feedback about the place, we still insisted to go. Luckily, we didn't experience any bad thing (from service to food and bills) in the resto. In fact, we really had a great time...

Welcome to Isdaan! This floating resto is located at Calauan, Laguna.

The famous "Tacsiyapo". An anger management activity wherein you can throw plates, cups and alike in the wall with the names of the person you hated most. I tried it twice, and I keep on hitting "Mang-aagaw". Hmmm... Maybe, I'll be more glad if the one I hit with the plate is the real person. lol

will definitely go back to this place. But before that, we will try their branch in Tarlac this coming September. ^_^

How to get there from Manila:
Private Vehicle: Take SLEX then exit to Calamba. Go straight to Los Banos. From Los Banos there’s a crossing for Calauan town proper, Sta Cruz and Bay, Laguna. Go straight to Sta Cruz way instead, then on the right side will be Isdaan, just 1 km away from the Crossing.

Commute: Ride a Sta Cruz bound bus (DLTB, Green Star and HM Transport), I think it's in Cubao. It will be just one ride. Just ask the driver to drop you off in Isdaan.

Facts:
Isdaan is also owned by the Ongpauco Family (owner of Barrio Fiesta)
Calauan Branch is actually their second branch, the original is in Tarlac and now they are planning to put up their third branch in Nueva Ecija

p.s. photo of foods will be posted in my food blog.

God speed,

Melai

Hundred Islands, Pangasinan

Our 2011 Team Building was held in Alaminos, Pangasinan. It was my first time to visit the place and I was so amazed in the beauty of the Hundred Islands. Although, our team building was not as extreme as the previous year's outing, we enjoyed the nature tripping, island hopping and snorkeling.

Meeting place is in Eastwood (as usual) and of course, some of us came late (as usual again). :))

We departed Manila at exactly 7am and on our way to Alaminos, my colleagues are so hyper singing their lungs out inside the van. Everyone is excited to have a new adventure...

Lunch with the team before the island hopping.

En route to the first island... sorry, I forgot the name of the island. hihi.

Hanggang dito kailangan may recitation? and obviously, my bosses are the one who are pro-active in this game... ^_^

Nice shot! Again, apologies coz I also forgot the name of this island. lol

credit to James who took this emo shot... :D

SOLO. Too much of the group shots...time to have my own pic.

Snorkeling for only P250.00 :)

In case you are wondering what we were doing there... nagpapapansin kami sa mga gwapong Koreans dun. lol

Class Picture. A tour to remember...

Might not be able to join this year's team building due to some school stuff. Summer class sucks! :(
