Camiguin Island

 BSR goes to CAMIGUIN ISLAND

Define “Adventure” - Being a volcanic island, Camiguin has unique rock formations good for trekking, climbing, canyoning and rappelling….This made our trip more exciting. Camiguin also features a sunken cemetery off-shore, submerged by a volcanic explosion a long time ago. The cemetery is now one of the popular dive sites in the island, but we never tried diving coz we can’t imagine diving in underwater cemetery. LOL. We just visit the site and took some pictures. After that, we went to White Island which is actually a sandbar in the middle of the sea. We also tried “spring hopping”, transferring from one hot/cold spring to another. They have lots of hot and cold springs since there are 7 volcanoes in the Island.

 Paras Beach Resort
 Katibawasan Falls. Freezing cold!
Walkway to the OLD VOLCANOES and Station of the Cross.
Sto. Nino Cold Spring.
Hibok-Hibok Hot Spring.
Jump Shot. Ruins of the Old Church.
Under the Centennial Tree.
(Necklace I'm wearing is a welcome gift when you book in Paras Beach Resort.)
White Island. a sandbar with fine white sand (hence the name) and its shape changes with the constantly-shifting currents.

Camiguin is the best place if you want to experience extreme adventure and relaxation at the same time. It's because the island features so many activities during the day but very peaceful and silent during the night. Amazing isn’t it? This is why I so love Camiguin Island.

HongKong! Live.Laugh.Love.

This is my first International Tour via Cebu Pacific Air Philippines and my first time to travel alone via plane ride.

HongKong here I come!
To all who didn't know, I'm Half-Chinese Half-Pinoy and my grandparents were from Kowloon, Hongkong. The irony on that, nobody in our family had been to Hongkong until 1 of my cousin worked here as an Auditor.
She invited me to visit her place for a couple of days and what can I say? I really enjoyed my grandparent's birthplace.

HongKong Airport. Biggest airport in Asia. There's a train inside in order for you to reach the exit from the departure area.
500 HongKong Dollar bill. HSBC is one of the three companies that prints HK dollars.
Dream come true! My first stop is the HongKong Disneyland. Since I was a kid, I always dreamed of going here...and here I am, hugging my favorite cartoon character. :)
Minnie Mouse Meet-and-Greet. With my cousin and pretty niece.
Disneyland is not complete without Minnie and Mickey.
Avenue of the Stars. Located at Kowloon Island, you can reach this place via barge. This is like the Walk of Fame in Eastwood, Libis.
The Peak Tram. A funicular railway in HK which carries both tourists and residents to the upper levels of HongKong Island.
 Inside Victoria Peak.
Pasalubong! Keychains I bought in HK Disneyland for me and my boyfriend.

One of the best thing in HK is going shopping. Haven't got the chance to take some photos because the moment I entered their mall I totally forgot about the camera. lol. H&M, Tommy H., Giordano and CK are some of my favorite stores I visited.
Surely, I'll come back...and the next time I'll visit HK, I'm going to bring my family with me. :)

Cagayan De Oro... The City of the Golden Friendship!

RECEIVABLES TEAM - GIRLS goes to CAGAYAN DE ORO.

Our friendship turns gold when we visited CAGAYAN DE ORO...
Welcome to the  City of Golden Friendship!
CDO is called City of Golden Friendship for the camaraderie and hospitality that are inherent and traditional traits of its people.Cagayan de Oro is located along the central coast of Northern Mindanao. It is situated in Mindanao, the second giant of the archipelago of all the landmass of the Philippines.
MAPAWA RIVER TREKKING
Our first activity is the River Trekking in Mapawa.
Getting into the river is already an adventure to me, but this one is really an intense and most challenging activity I've ever had. Activities includes 25 ft. water falls slide, body rappel, 30 ft. free fall jump and 65 ft water rappel. And since this is my first time in rappelling, I really don't have any idea what to do. These activities made my heart jump out of excitement and nervousness.
Intense di ba? This is not for the faint-hearted folks. lol
DEAR MANOK
Had our dinner at Dear Manok. CDO's best restaurant for chicken cuisine.
WHITE RIVER RAFTING
Our last day in CDO was dedicated for souvenir buying in Gaisano Mall, which is like the SM Mega Mall here in Manila. So big!
You can ask our itinerary and I am happy to share it with you. :)
CDO is the best place for adventure lover people! :)

Bukidnon!

BUKIDNON: Pineapple Capital of the Philippines

After visiting the Strawberry farm, I want to share you...BUKIDNON'S PINEAPPLE FARM. :)
A quick visit in Bukidnon when we were in Cagayan de Oro. It is just an hour drive from CDO that is why we decided to drive a little farther.

DEL MONTE PINEAPPLE FARM

We only had so little time in visiting the place, hence explains the limited pictures. :)

Baguio...Summer Captital of the Philippines

BSR Accountants goes to BAGUIO CITY!

Living in Manila where it’s usually hot and humid,  Manilenos crave for some cold weather!
My Manager who is from Baguio invited us to visit their place, and because the team are all "lakwatsero and lakwatera", we decided to all tag along.
Philippine Military Academy

Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes
Strawberry farm in Benguet
Sweet and delicious Strawberries fresh from the farm in Benguet
Good Shepperd
Where you can find the best peanut brittle and ube jam in Baguio
Camp John Hay
Bye Baguio! Till our next visit... :)

Subic (Zoobic Safari and Tree Top Adventure)

Receivables Team goes to Subic!
When life in the metro became so stressful, go somewhere where you can enjoy the whole day and go home with new adventures that you will never forget. With my equally crazy friends, my Subic trip is one of the best adventure I've ever had.
ZOOBIC SAFARI
Zoobic Safari: A 25 hectare amusement park presenting a once-in-a-lifetime experience for you and your family. Enjoy exotic animals roaming and frolicking in their natural habitat and surroundings of individual planes and native grasslands. This very-well may be the most real thing to a wild animal jungle safari around. (courtesy of wikimapia.org)
 hey kitty, kitty!
 TREETOP ADVENTURE
Breathtaking, is a word best used to describe the experience of riding canopies, superman zipline, walking cable bridges, and cable-sliding from one treetop to another while marveling at the vast array of surrounding flora, fauna and animal species. The keyword here is adventure; make sure you take friends and family members with you who are dear to your heart as you will long remember this bonding experience for a lifetime.
The canopy ride made my knees tremble, but I am so happy that I tried this ride. Thanks to my friends, they really pushed me so hard! lol

Bataan (Mt. Samat)

Receivables Team goes to Bataan...
Mt. Samat - the mountain where the Dambana ng Kagitingan or Shrine of Valour is located.

Walk...Walk...Walk.
At last, we reached the foot of the cross. This huge cross was built in memory of the soldiers who died in WWII. We were so exhausted when we reached the top but so happy that finally we are able to visit the Dambana ng Kagitingan. How ironic, I lived in Bataan for four (4) years but I haven't been here during thos times.
Class picture. lol

The scenic view of this place is amazing. You can smell the fresh air that you will never find in the metro. Lots of tourist visits the historical mountain, specially Japanese and Americans. There is also a museum under the cross where you can find vintage guns and swords used during the war. I can't show some pictures of those because cameras are not allowed inside.
 Left...right...left...right... :)
We are lucky coz' the weather is good when we visited the site. On our way here, we saw some cyclist going up and down...the place is also perfect for cycling because the road is cemented. If you also want to go jogging for some kilometers, you can also try it here since the place is safe for motorist as well as the hikers.
Viewing deck inside the cross.
The Memorial Cross is a towering structure made of concrete, steel and marble. It is 92 meters high and the arms’ length is 15 meter on each side. It is 555 meters above sea level. An elevator goes up to the arms of the cross where the viewing galleries are found. The exterior finish of the cross at the base up to an 11-meter level is capped with “Nabiag Nga Bato” sculptural bas relief’s depicting significant battles and historical events.
